Fusion Video is Here! Check it out...

You are probably wondering what fusion videos are.  They are a combination of photographs and video taken at a session and put into a music slide show to watch and enjoy.  They add another dimension to what we professionals do and make the sessions come to life.  Here is my first fusion video from a family session:

We are offering these videos as an add-on to our services, so if this is something you would like with a future session, just ask!  You receive an HD DVD plus a lower res mp4 to load into your electronic devices such as phones and music players.  How fun is that?

Baby Hammock - New Prop!

How totally cute is this little guy?  I was honored to photograph Jayce's newborn session in September and this was probably my favorite image.  Looks a little scary to photograph a newborn in a flimsy hammock but be aware that there is a table right underneath, just out of camera view, with a doubled over sheepskin rug and mom & dad safely within arms reach.  Trust me, I'm always more nervous than the parents about something happening to baby.  I will post new props as I have them and see what you think.

Holiday Portrait Special for 2010!

You've been waiting all year for it...so without further ado I am presenting my 2010 Holiday Portrait Special. This year we're doing things a little different. I am including a 20 minute session and an 8x12 file of your choice for an unbelievable price of only $125. You can use this file to make your own Holiday Cards and/or to make prints up to 8x12" in size. But there's a hitch! There are only 10 different dates and 40 openings available for this special and when those slots are gone, they're gone! By Invitation Only Membership Changes

After careful consideration of running my By Invitation Only Membership Program, I am changing the rules and benefits to be more clear to customers.  Effective immediately, BIO benefits will be for clients who spend at least $1,000 per calendar year or more and will give them a straight 25% off my listed print prices for sizes up to 8x12" and 10% off custom framing orders.  All the rules and info can be printed out from my website at www.asliceoflifephoto.com.

Due to the rising costs of owning a business including costs associated with part-time employees who help me with color correcting and preparing files for upload to the web, I am no longer able to offer free or 1/2 price sessions any longer.  In return, we have lowered the prices of large wall prints and gallery wraps to make it more affordable to showcase your family in style above your fireplace or other wall space.

As a bonus, we are also offering free wall prints to our loyal customers at the end of the year based upon size of portrait orders during that calendar year.  You may use this free wall portrait from any session.

Pettiskirts and Parasols!

I will be having a special the month of July featuring Pettiskirts and Parasols. I supply the pettiskirts and parasols, you supply the little girls, shirts, socks and shoes! A 30 minute session and 1-8x10 and 8 wallets for an unbelievable price of only $49! Sessions will be scheduled on a Tuesday through Thursday basis.
